3D Design

3D Design courses are an introduction to the principles, vocabulary and mechanics of three-dimensional design. Students learn visual aesthetic sensitivity to three-dimensional line, plane, form and space, executing hands-on studio work utilizing large scale wood shop machinery. The scope and sequence allows for student exploration of diverse artists and designers. Within the concepts presented, students will respond with work that addresses a breadth of lived experience as well as contemporary human and environmental issues in design.
